President Donald Trump’s approval rating has reached 50 percent on Monday, the first time it hit that number or higher since February 27, according to Rasmussen Report‘s latest tracking poll released on Monday.
The poll also found that 49 percent of respondents disapproving of Trump’s job performance.
At this point of the last president’s tenure – April 2, 2010 – Obama had an approval rating of 46 percent.
The latest tracking poll also showed that 33 percent of likely voters “Strongly Approve,” while 39 percent of them “Strongly Disapprove.” This gives him a Rasmussen Reports Presidential Approval Index rating of -6, the best since March 2, 2018.

The telephone-based poll was conducted among 1,500 likely U.S. voters during a three-day time period and had a 2.5 percentage point margin of error.
